作者简介
汉斯·罗斯林（1948—2017），1948年出生于瑞典乌普萨拉。“开启民智”基金会创始人，《时代》杂志“全球100位最有影响力人物”之一。曾先后担任世界卫生组织、联合国儿童基金会和其他援助机构的顾问。1997年，汉斯开始在卡罗林斯卡学院任教，他发现受到高等教育的学生对 世界抱有极大的误解，他们的想法和决策都相当情绪化。于是他走上TED的演讲舞台，用动态数据图像生动地展示了世界正在经历的真实变化，涉及人口、经济、环境等多个备受关注却从未被真正了解的主题。他的演讲视频获得了上千万次的点击，每一次演讲都大受媒体好评，也受到人们的赞誉：“数据在汉斯手上会唱歌”。多年后，汉斯决定将他毕生的想法写成书。在生命的最后一刻，他还在反复修改书稿，力求向人们更好地展示他一生都在追求的思维方式和思考世界的方法。
