内容简介
中国先民创造文字，“近取诸身，远取诸物”，即近处模仿身体四肢，远处模仿自然万物。3000年前的甲骨文中，已出现与人体相关的比较规整、系统的汉字，刻画了形体、头颅、肢体、胸背的特征。这些直接描写人体或与人体相关的象形字、会意字，真实形象地反映了人体组织和人类生产或生活的实际情况。
本书通过对人体汉字的分析和研究，使海外读者了解中国先民创制文字的历史，了解与体形、姿势、体毛、发须、头面、脖子、眉毛、眼睛、耳朵、鼻子、牙齿、口舌等身体部位相关的汉字知识和文化渊源。
作者简介
作者白冰，博士，现任广东技术师范学院教授。研究方向为古汉语与中国古文字，研究重视出土文献，重视吸收国外的研究成果，从不同的角度对“商周青铜器铭文”进行研究，先后发表研究商周青铜器铭文的学术论文十余篇。
