内容简介
本书以当代美国具有代表性的三位女性剧作家玛莎·诺曼、温迪·华瑟斯坦和保拉·沃格尔的九部戏剧作为研究对象,综合运用仪式理论、表演性理论和女性主义理论,探讨仪式表演与女性自我建构、仪式与女性戏剧美学之间的关系。研究认为仪式具有很强的颠覆性、表演性和生成性,是剧中女性人物克服身份危机、实现自我赋权的实践策略,也是剧作家组织戏剧行动、表现女性主义思想的戏剧技巧。同时还揭示了女性身份认同的表演性,阐明性别身份并不是本质的、固定不变的存在,而是身体重复执行准则、动作、姿势和欲望的表演结果。
作者简介
作者李淑玲,副教授,文学博士,硕士生导师,毕业于南京大学,现任教于中国矿业大学外国语言文化学院。主要从事英美文学、比较文学研究。
在《当代外国文学》《外国文学动态研究》《四川戏剧》及Frontiers of Narrative Studies等国内外学术期刊发表论文三十余篇,主编出版教材一部。
