廖潔連简介：
廖潔連，香港理工大學設計學院副教授，專注中文字體設計研究，曾獲香港理工大學頒授 President`s Awards for Achievement in Research and Scholarly Activities。應邀為「2007 世界最美的書」評委。2004 – 06，與北京清華大學進行中文字體設計的學術交流。獲頒1996 年度 WhitePaper 兩項金獎及 1999 年度 thinkCLICK 兩項金獎。編著有《中文字體設計 ﹣香港理工北京清華教與學》（2007-08） 。
