本书是余太山先生《早期丝绸之路文献研究》一书的英文版。
内容简介
本书对东方和西方的有关丝绸之路的古代文献资料进行了细致的考证、研究，求得不同语种文献的相互印证，从而确认古代东西交流的史实。
全书分上卷、下卷、附卷三部分，对于《穆天子传》《西域图记》《历史》《地理志》等中外古籍均有详实的考证和独到的比较研究。
作者简介
编者余太山，中国社会科学院研究生院历史系毕业。此后任职历史所，1993年起为研究员，曾任中外关系史研究室主任。专治古代中亚史、中外关系史。中国社会科学院荣誉学部委员。
