作者简介
作者艾米莉·狄金森，十九世纪美国女诗人。继青少年时代在阿默斯特学院和一个神学院学习之后，从二十几岁开始弃绝社交，闭门不出。她一生留下诗作一千八百余首，以及大量的私人信件。
这些诗歌在她生前只发表过十多首，其余的都在她死后才出版并为世人所知。作品的广泛传播奠定了狄金森在美国诗坛不可动摇的地位，她被视为二十世纪现代诗歌的先驱之一，在美国诗人中与惠特曼齐名。
